The Trans Resort Bali Conducts English Assessment to Improve Service Quality

Badung, Studentzap – The Trans Resort Bali conducted an English assessment for its employees and supervisors as part of an effort to improve the quality of human resources, particularly in delivering better services to international guests (17/01/2023).

The assessment was attended by employees from various departments, including training participants and supervisors. It aimed to measure employees’ English proficiency in order to identify their current skill levels and support future development programs.

Supervisor of The Trans Resort Bali, I Gede Suastika Saputra, said the assessment was carried out to help The Human Resources Department understand employees’ language abilities and prepare further training if necessary.

The English assessment is conducted to measure employees’ English proficiency, including both training participants and supervisors, so that the human resources department can identify their current level and prepare further training if needed,” he said.

According to him, the assessment mainly focused on a written test to evaluate employees’ understanding of proper English usage based on standard grammar and hospitality-related communication. The assessment was held from January 14 to January 16 and was scheduled carefully to avoid disrupting hotel operations.

He also emphasized that the assessment should not be a one-time activity, but a continuous program supported by professional training.

This assessment should be conducted continuously and followed by professional training programs to ensure employees meet the service standards set by management,” he added.

Meanwhile, employees who participated in the assessment welcomed the initiative, stating that English skills play an important role in their daily work at the hotel.

One of the participants, I Putu Yansen Ray Billy, said English proficiency is essential when communicating with international guests.

Another participant, Ni Kadek Debby Kumala Wati, shared a similar view, describing the assessment as a useful tool to evaluate employees’ language skills.

The test helps the hotel evaluate employees’ English skills and serves as a reminder of basic English knowledge needed for daily work,” she said.

Through this English assessment, The Trans Resort Bali expects its employees to continuously improve their language abilities in order to enhance service quality and maintain professional standards in the global hospitality industry.
